US may not take advantage of the last point, but they’re not their just to help Israel.

The US was born out of immorality. It commits immoral acts more often than it does moral ones.

2nd holocaust? When muslims and jews lived together, was this holocaust happening then? Funny how this holocaust story has reared its head since the re-creation of the state of Israel.

What does the US get from Israel?

-Israeli supporters in the US fund political campaigns.
-US gives Israel money and they turn around and buy US military supplies.
    -Strategic positioning.

    Im perplexed, not angry.

It happens often when dealing with people whose opinions don’t make much sense.

Yeah, that’s it, get angry. That’ll help you win me over.

“The only reason the US is in the middle east, this includes Israel, is because its ventures into Latin America didn’t go according to plan.”

Such paranoid baloney, there is NOTHING material to gain from Israel. We help them because otherwise we’d have a 2nd holocaust on our hands. Are you completely incapable of believing that the US can do anything moral?

“It’s all about perpetuating the state we are currently in”

How the hell do you fit Israel into perpetuating the US state?

“We don’t live peaceful and free lives.”

Nice assertion, want to back it up? Personally I live a peaceful and mostly free life, and everyone in the US I have ever met has pretty much the same.

“Our countries are living off the slavery of other countries.”

And yet people in the US claim that foreign countries are stealing our jobs! Anti-trade foolishness can’t get its story straight.

Economists have known how trade benefits everyone for centuries now, its about time you started to listen.

We don’t live peaceful and free lives. That’s a lie. Our countries are living off the slavery of other countries. We all work to sell these goods, and then we go out and buy them because we’re too stupid to know better.

The only reason the US is in the middle east, this includes Israel, is because its ventures into Latin America didn’t go according to plan. It’s all about perpetuating the state we are currently in, and we don’t even realise that the state we are in is bad rather than good.

The US does commit terrorism, and it has been doing so ever since the white man set foot on the new world. Please, don’t be so blinkered.

“The 9-11 attack was due to US foriegn policy regarding Israel.”

Whats your point? We are supportive of a nation that was surprised attacked by every nation it bordered with at once with only religious and political motivations. If they attack us for stopping them from causing a genocide does that mean we should just stand back and let it happen?

“Soldiers are killing for the survival of the American and British way of life”

Is that wrong? Americans and the British live peaceful and free lives free of religious persecution as Al Quaeda would much prefer. I think thats worth fighting for, that and not wanting to get randomly blown up.

    “and for corporate exploitation”

In Iraq that is definetly happening, we need to get rid of Haliburton. In Afghanistan its probably not so bad.

“We need to develop water-motor technology asap”

No, no, no, we need H2 produced from algae. Its a MUCh better system than anything else out there. It actively sequesters CO2 permanently, burns without any pollution, can produce pure fresh water which can be used for irrigation or drinking, and even makes fertilizer, all at the same time. There is nothing that comes remoretly close to the greatness of H2 Algae in the emerging energy market.

“There’s the heroin trade too that funds CIA black ops…”

Well I don’t know about it funding the CIA, i’m sure they get all the tax payer funding they want, but the poppy crops are a big problem. The easiest way to fix that problem is simply to allow Afghanistan to legalize it. its not like we can slow it don’t any ways so we might as well not make enemies of Afghan farmers and stop giving the warlords all that drug money. Pretty obvious solution if you ask me.

    THE TRUTH:

Soldiers are killing for the survival of the American and British way of life, and for corporate exploitation, regardless of the cost to others. Now, peace and freedom (if that’s what you call what we have) may be achieved in the middle east in the pursuit of this but it doesn’t mean that’s what they’re fighting for (it’s just a necessity for the real aim), nor does it make it right.

The 9-11 attack was due to US foreign policy regarding Israel.

I like your honesty and agree with you. I know about the pipeline. There’s the heroin trade too that funds CIA black ops…

We need to develop water-motor technology asap to become independent of fossil fuels. There are convincing prototypes out there, and also solar-powered vehicles. The US wants to control the entire oil and gas supplies to dictate its will to the rest of the world.

The reason for SUVs and gas-guzzlers in general is they make the oil men rich.

you MIGHT have a point in Iraq but Alqueda in Afghanistan DID sort of cause 9-11. Thatis the real motivation for going into Afghanistan. Some oil line doesn’t prove anything, there will always be side benefits for turning a nation from a despotic hermit theocracy into something better.

If you want to learn about US business in Afghanistan, Google Afghanistan Pipeline….our interest in the region(Iraq as well and probably Iran someday) is about resource, my people have been dishonestly led to believe we have enemies in this region that wish to do us harm, and so have obtained backing(at least in the beginning of the wars) to invade and occupy….I love America but im not that naive to believe we are fighting these wars for a better Iraq or Afghanistan.

I know this comes as a huge surprise to everyone but the US Marine Corps is one of the most PC organizations in the world.

We take every single precaution we can to ensure we do as little damage as absolutely possible to civilians and infrastructure while also accomplishing the mission. But terrorists WANT us to commit crimes against humanity so they consistently attack us from Mosques, Schools, Hospitals, water treatment plants, ect.

“Those UAV birds are terrorist tools”

A lot of people don’t like seeing police cars here in the US. It doesn’t mean we should get rid of all police cars and UAVs. You have no idea how many UAVs save lives over there. Counter to what you seem to believe their main mission is to watch for bad guys, not shoot them. If it weren’t for them we COULDN’T differentiate terrorists from civilians! Without them many more civilians would die and the terrorists would be much stronger.

“If you don’t do it on purpose you’re a hell of a bad lot of marksmen”

We are the most accurate military force on earth. I worked with artillery and we weren’t off target a single time in Iraq. Even in training I know of only 2 instances where we messed up our targeting and only 1 instance of our technology malfunctioning.

“How can you tell a resistance fighter from an inactive civilian on a laptop screen?”

The terrorists are the ones shooting mortars.

“all good intentions fly out the window in theater. Higher ups ordered the torture, the civilian bombings etc.”

I was over in Iraq for 19 months and not ONCE was I ordered to do anything remotely suspicious and if I had been the person who had ordered it wouldn’t have gotten away with it. Marines are not robots and though we do follow orders well, we have also been trained to know when our commanders are in the wrong and there are ways with dealing with that.

“You have tech superiority but still strike terror . ”

But thats the thing, striking terror into your enemies is NOT what makes something terrorism. Its terrorism when you are completely unrestrained in your use of violence and are willing and motivated to target civilians. Just like the in the US Revolution, they fought a guerrilla war but they di NOT hide behind and target civilians, that would have made them terrorists.

“This is what you call “hiding among the civilians”.”

No, I call shooting mortars from hospitals and rigging schools with booby traps hiding among civilians.

“The US has NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS in Afghanistan.”

We had the worst attack since Pearl Harbor happen to us and it was directed from Afghanistan. If that doesn’t give us a legitimate reason to defend our selves what would? Nuclear attack? You might have a point in Iraq, but not Afghanistan.

Your training, your solemn pledges to fight with honor etc. all good intentions fly out the window in theater. Higher ups ordered the torture, the civilian bombings etc. If you don’t do it on purpose you’re a hell of a bad lot of marksmen.
How can you tell a resistance fighter from an inactive civilian on a laptop screen? You need to re-define terror more inclusively. Those UAV birds are terrorist tools, ask any Afghan if they enjoy having them overhead.

I see you’ve swallowed the military propaganda hook, line and sinker. You call “terrorist” resistance fighters”. If you say it was them that attacked the US on 9-11 you’ll be pitied by 95% of world population. The Afghans have extensive family ties, tribal allegiances etc.. This is what you call “hiding among the civilians”.
The US has NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS in Afghanistan. UAV bombings, waterboarding, are among the US terror tactics. You have tech superiority but still strike terror .
