Nietzsche called anti-semites an abortion, that may put some perspective on what he would have thought of the Nazi’s.

To be honest with you, I don’t see any problem with comedy in criticism of religion at all. I mean at least this clip is making fun of the deaths of millions of people- which is truly tragic- but beliefs are just beliefs. If simple beliefs are raised above ridicule, what then?

There’s no such thing as tasteless comedy, only tasteless people.
There’s funny comedy or unfunny comedy, and that’s determined by what percentage of the room laugh at it.

  • 19 Anonymous // Aug 21, 2008 at 1:23 am

Yeah but even so, it was tasteless comedy.

  • 20 Anonymous // Aug 21, 2008 at 1:23 am

I found that stand up to be hilarious! I’m going to hazard a guess- are you religious?

nto nazis history, you will see that he did kill them but the people he focused on were the jews
he descrininated against them, burnt their book and they were kill most.
in this Ricky gervais uses the jews as an example because more jews were killed, is he used the gypsies, homosexuals etc it wouldnt of had the same effect

  • 22 Anonymous // Aug 21, 2008 at 1:23 am

pft typical jewish crap. what about all the slavs, gypsys, homoseuxals and christians that were killed. why are jewish deaths more important than any1 elses? what about the armenian genocide?cambodian genocide? seems like jew deaths is the only important one

  • 23 Anonymous // Aug 21, 2008 at 1:23 am

don’t forget about homosexual people… disabled people… etc etc etc

  • 24 Anonymous // Aug 21, 2008 at 1:23 am
