did you every go to sekolah kebangsaan? If you did, you will quickly realize that even though everybody was dressed a like, the system treated you differently based on what kaum (race) you are listed under. I learned this lesson in sekolah rendah (primary school). And as you progressed to secondary school it became very stark.
