right on DH..a few years back i “cogitated” a solution to our mess (aka social “critical mass”) and that is to limit the voting franchise (suffrage) to those who are paying into the system… then i re-read the constitution to see for myself why this could not be… and lo and behold… all the mess has its source in the (24th?) amnendment(s) passed under LBJ in 1964-65…..it has taken 3 generations for those evil seeds to flower… too late now i suppose, although i don’t enjoy saying it…

Don, you miss the point, our vote hasn’t counted for years, because Washington is owned by the Global Plutocracy. Getting us into a position to recieve Global Government is the task at hand. Money insures they can continue their cause.

Secondly, NOBODY is obligated to do ANYTHING for ANYONE. This country was founded on free enterprise, the Constitution of the Republic and order and freedom. No Soviet obligations to drag the poor to their feet, they always get only poorer because those doing the handouts always keep the biggest part to themselves. If you’re talented, even without higher education, 50 years ago you still had a great amount of opportunity.

Gov’t has grown too fat, too lazy and too self serving. If we don’t do anything about it, it will be the death of us all. It is the 100lb leech sucking the life blood out of economy.

Right on the mark!! In Canada as well. Gov’t is far too wasteful while the working stiffs pay the bills (taxes). Gov’t is also too involved with special interests (Corporate Fascism). Gov’t is the source of increase taxes and inflation (the hidden tax). Gov’t is the problem and not the solution!!

Uhm, who says it “created itself”? All of it evolved, via natural forces. The moon is “perfectly” positioned for the tides only because this is the environment we evolved into. If we had not, the moon’s placement would not be perfect.

A worm living around a deep sea vent is in its “perfect:” environment, while for us it is deadly.

My “life” is a natural consequence of a non-random process of natural selection and mutation. That is all. Its not “nothing”

Look around, only a fool would believe this existance created itself, an earth that replenishes it’s own water, filters it’s own air, maintains seasonal changes to renew the needed natural resouces for survival, a moon place perfectly to move the tides and filter the ocean, and you….you’re alive…and you consider that what ?? A natural consequence of “nothing” you want evidence…look around…the proof is everywhere….God is not a golden idol…sitting somewhere for proof
