I’ve been a vapidly wild fan of Monty Python since 1974 or so.This movie was a pleasure since I live near Bethleham and am Jewish.Lots here are inside jokes which keep me watching this over and over.Only the Stoning scene funny as it is, is not “stoning”.A person being stoned is after trail,after 3 separate warnings.He is drugged & a bolder is placed on his chest.How many people were stoned while driving and never knew what hit them(or they hit) smiling thru the blood?

A very nice feature of the dvd of this movie would have been a commentary by one or more rabbis on different facts or points of the movie.
